Our Area and the Moose
Our hunting area has a great population of big Trophy Moose. We hunt close to the Wood Buffalo National Park in the northern part of the province of Alberta, Canada.
We have a 95% success rate on our Moose hunts and adding a Black Bear tag/license to your Moose tag is common.
Moose Hunt
6-day moose hunt: $6,500.00 including taxes and license.
We call, spot and stalk, and use treestands to hunt our monster Moose. Your hair on your neck is guaranteed to stand up when your guide calls a Bull Moose in at 5-10 meters. Just the sound of the grunting from a mature Moose will send chills up you spine.
Wide North Outfitters have a wounded animal policy re: it will cost you a tag/license.
Optional Trophy Fees
On all our hunts we often come across situations were an optional chance to harvest another species trophy animal (depends on season and availability).

What to bring and what is included
Clients are responsible for their own personal equipment. A complete and detailed list of what to bring will be sent to the client well before the hunt. Hunt includes everything upon arrival, except alcohol, tobacco and guide tips.
Firearms
We recommend .30 Cal or larger calibers and bonded bullets are strongly advised. Shooting distance vary between 10-300 meters depending hunt and situation. Most important is that you feel comfortable shooting with your firearms.
