Our Areas and the Bears
Our hunting area has a massive population of Black Bear and therefore a 2 bear hunting area. Second tag/license can
be purchased optionally at anytime during your hunt. We hunt close to the Wood Buffalo National Park in the northern part
of the province of Alberta, Canada.

We have a 175-200% success rate on our bear hunts and have never sent a hunter home without filling one of his tags/licenses.

In our area we have gigantic trophy bears and several taken every year.

Way of Hunting
Our hunts are 6-days and we offer two forms of hunting black bears - Baited hunts and Spot and Stalk. Baited hunts
are the most common and give the hunter the chance to study his prey up close. Spot and Stalk we move lots with Argos,
4x4, trucks, and plain old feet to spot a good size bear. The hunter then makes a stalk up close to study the bear.
Normally our hunts are 2 clients per guide with option of one on one.

Wide North Outfitters have a wounded bear policy re: it will cost you a tag/license.

Black Bear Hunt
$3,750.00 including taxes and licenses with option to purchase a second bear tag/license for $500.00.

Optional Trophey Fees
On all our hunts we often come across situations were an optional chance to harvest another species trophy animal
(depends on season and regulations).

Other options
Extra hunting day, per day rate             $300.00
One on one upgrade, per day rate       $100.00
Non hunter, per day rate                        $100.00

What to bring and what is included:
Clients are responsible for their own personal equipment. A complete and detailed list of what to bring will be sent to the
client well before the hunt. Hunt includes everything upon arrival, except alcohol, tobacco and guide tips.

Firearms
We recommend .30 Cal or larger calibers and bonded bullets are strongly advised. Shooting distance vary between 10-100
meters depending of the choice of hunt. Most important is that you feel comfortable shooting with your firearms.
